The BNP is probably the same as the Front National. It actually sits in an odd place on the political spectrum - a lot of people view them as being extreme right because of their racist views, but a lot of their other policies/beliefs are more socialist than anything (thus proving my Sociology teacher's point that the extreme left and the extreme right can be indistinguishable).

The people that have annoyed me most are those who said they voted BNP as a protest vote. ESPECIALLY those for whom the BNP won't do anything for.

And currently having an internal rant at myself and wondering how a personality trait that used to serve me well has recently(ish? longer? dunno) turned round and bitten me badly and become a serious problem.

Not to mention American's unaccompanied minor charge (Jay is 13, American requires unaccompanied minor on all passengers under 15 flying alone) is almost twice that of AirTran's.
I don't know where in the DFW area your son is, but have you checked out Southwest Airlines out of Love Field in Dallas? I think they have non-stop flights to Chicago Midway. And Southwest is a very reasonably priced airline. Might be worth checking into.

I can't help thinking they were encouraged to vote BNP by hearing a lot of discredited politicians from other parties telling them not to.

Not more trouble! Anything specific or just contractors in general? I've been following your experiences full of sympathy, and very relieved that it's not me. Hope the latest issue gets sorted out soon.

They did not show up last night to fix the extra hole in the sink, and now it seems to be expanding. I have the premonition of lawyers in my future...

hee hee.

What kind of phone is it? I always hate that since the phone is like a relationship. You're are dependant on it and once it breaks u feel lost. Then you have to get another one and transfer all of the information to the other one to this new one. So much work, esp if the other one suited all of ur needs!

Hurumph

Poo, I must say I agree, a thread like this is pretty useful!

Ok my turn: I have 3 days off to do almost as much stuff as what RM does in an afternoon (paint 2 rooms, find a new job, do homeworks, write a final paper, pack up my things 'cause I'm moving in 3 weeks, see a friend who needs company, and some other things too...), which, for my avatar, is equivalent to a nightmare.
I's raining, so grey you'd think it's 10:30 PM, it's 11 Celsius (52F) and I have some not hangover related stomach bug that won't even let me keep coffee in.
Can I just go back to bed?

Ooh, I know! I'll go back to bed with my laptop, so I can do tonights homework whilst sitting in a precarious position!

Yes exactly!
For you it's Canada Day, for us it's "let's use this day off from work to go through hell for the fun of it" day!
Well, I scored a nice apartment (cheaper, bigger, better) so I couldn't resist!

@ Alpha: that is a usual day off for me: all systems break loose.
