I thought I was making the base for a birthday card for my sister. But the colours turn out to be more muted than I thought. Still, the colour combination works really well so I'll use it as a base/background for the birthday card for my cousin's husband.

I've just finished the birthday card for my sister. I had decided to make a shaker card, and since I was using my new cupcake stamp set I thought it would be fun to use actual cake sprinkles in the shaker window.

I also just saw that my tablet has been repaired, again, and will be shipped to me as soon as possible. Hopefully I'll get it early next week.

On Monday I'm going to house and dog sit for friends. Right now I'm planning what I'm going to do on Monday. I'm also making lists for grocery shopping and my trip to Ikea.

I'm preparing for my house sitting gig. I'm currently doing laundry and I've gathered most stuff that I can pack today. I've also packed my craft bag.

I was happily copying films to a memory card when it decided to stop working properly. Hopefully I can get it working again after formatting it, but for now I went out to get a 64gb USB stick.

Yesterday morning my repaired tablet was delivered. In the evening I got an email telling me that it had been repaired and I could expect it to be delivered within 3 business days.

This morning I first charged it and now it's reinstalling all my apps and I also saw there was an Android update.

Sitting here in Richmond with my daughter while she has another round of chemo as an outpatient. This has to be the hottest room in the hospital. Part of me suspects she asked for this room when the appointment was made. I'm sweating and she's laying there under a jacket. I have to get up and take a walk from time to time to cool down.
