In the Netherlands you regularly see people transporting both kids and dog in a variation of this type of bike cart. Or they get a bakfiets (cargo bike)

I'm trying to catch up with my photo journalling before going to house sit in just over week. I'm still working on the pictures from my trip to Antwerp late April. This year I seem to mainly take pictures when something is happening and not much in between. I don't think I mind. I took a lot of pictures during my trip to Antwerp, a day out to the Keukenhof, the weekend trip to Noordwijk and last week during all the Tour de France stuff. I do want to get back to journalling regularly, which also means that I automatically keep my desk reasonably clean since I need more space journalling than making cards.

I once spent Christmas, my Birthday, and New Year (they come in that order) on my own, or rather at pubs on my own or with "friends for the evening" and it did suck a lot. Thank goodness for books and the internet is all I can say.

A late "Happy Birthday," kindlekitten!

Right now I'm sitting down, about to close the computer and do some reading. Despite the odd hours I keep, I've never had much trouble getting my 8 hours of sleep per night -- until 2 weeks ago. My sleep has been short and unpredictable since then. I'm trying to ease into some conscious relaxation and get back on a regular sleep schedule.
