Heh. We could do that, but then we'd be also forced to repair all the broken iLiad units, and I don't think we want to this

I finally caved in and I'm trying to order an iLiad since two days. All I get is an error message.

Now I'm not only here to meditate until delivery but until iRex answers to my mail and lets me order :-)

061009 13:55 Still no connection to payment gateway :-( On one try the raw order-data that should have been sent to the payment service provider was sent to my browser.

061009 14:26 I just checked my iRex account to find 3 individual non-confirmed orders of an iLiad - but I still didn't have the chance to enter my creditcard data.

As it turned out the iLiad Shop didn't like the German Character "ß" in my address.
I finally placed my order!

Well my address has a ß in it's name [... Straße], too. I haven't got your error message months ago. Are you sure, that this was the crux?
If yes, iRex changed something worse.

But UPS had problems delivering my packet, because the ö in "Dörflistrasse" was completely wrecked and they could not read the street-name anymore, so I had to call up UPS to let them know the right address (it was almost a horror-story, as I tracked the shipping status and suddenly I see: "destination-address non-existant check with sender..." :-)

Just make sure no Umlaute are in the address field, it will save you some troubles...

Uuh, I had a look at my order information again. I have used the abbreviation "Str."! So i didn't use any ß.

Well, so I can be happy that i didn't encounter this bug.

So you must be the first german customer who didn't abbreviate Straße. (Meaning "street", so most germans have a ß in their address)
