Wenn ich den iTunes Store aufrufe, sehe ich nur die Werbung, dass das Album kostenlos ist. Es ist nicht automatisch in meinen Einkäufen gelandet. Keine Ahnung, was bei mir anders eingestellt ist?

Wenn du per Account angemeldet bist, klicke auf das Bild und folge dem Einkaufsprozess (wie gehabt). Es funktioniert eben NICHT vollautomatisch.

Ich will's ja gar nicht. Ich wollte eigentlich nur sagen, dass es nicht stimmt, dass man es "aufgedrückt" bekommt, wie weiter oben impliziert wurde. Es wird auch nicht automatisch aus meiner Cloud geladen, solange ich es nicht "gekauft" habe.

Ich denke, Doitsu hat sich einfach missverständlich ausgedrückt. Oder ich habe etwas völlig missverstanden.

So, und der Ehre halber muss ich mich jetzt korrigieren. Weiteres "Graben" in meinem Account hat ergeben, dass ich besagtes Album tatsächlich "gekauft" habe. (Hab ich natürlich nicht, und es gibt ja inzwischen eine Anleitung, wie man es wieder entfernen kann... )

Ich glaub's echt fast nicht, aber gut, dass ich meinen Account so eingestellt habe, dass nicht alles automatisch auf dem Rechner landet.

Damit hat Apple ein recht großes Fettnäpfchen aufgetan, vermutlich wird das dann wohl eine einmalige Aktion bleiben.

In letzter Zeit ist hier ja nicht viel los. Ja gibts denn nix mehr umsonst ???? ein Skandal...

Einen hab ich heute gefunden: Der Hexer von Wolfgang Hohlbein, Heft 01 für lau. Egal ob kindel oder EPub.

Natürlich belasten dann die andern 67 Hefte der Serie mit 66,33 EUR das gebeutelte Budget des deutschen E-Buchlesers, aber man kann zumindest erstmal gucken ob einen der Kram gefällt.

Lobenswert: Die EPub-Version ohne hartes DRM ! (Das gilt scheinbar für die ganze Serie...)

Jo, Bastei... Man kann den Verzicht auf hartes Drm gar nicht oft genug loben ...

Was bei diesem Verlag noch dazukommt: alles was ich bisher gesehen habe war recht ordentlich gemacht.

Zum Thema DRM (zum Thema Schnäppchen passt es nicht...):

Alle Verlage, die bei minimore im Programm sind, vertreiben ihre ebooks komplett DRM-frei (auch auf anderen Plattformen, soweit ich bisher feststellen konnte; (nur bei Kobo gibts Probleme, wenn das Buch epub3 als Format im content.opf angegeben hat - dann machen die sofort ein nur-kepub-Ding draus, incl. ihrem hauseigenen DRM; aber deutsche ebooks kaufe ich inzwischen eh meist bei meinem örtlichen Buchhändler...)).

Tja, du hasts gut! Mein lokaler Buchhändler ist inzwischen ... Pleite ...

Ansonsten find ich diesen Kobo-quatsch genau so dämlich wie DRM. Denn wenn ich in 10 Jahren mal wieder in ein altes EBuch reingucken will, dann ist so ein proprietäres System sicher nicht hilfreich. Ausserdem bindet es den Leser an einen Anbieter...
