hello,problems whit my kobo clara hd n249.
screen all white,no signs,no crash.
push power key i see white led on for 1 second then go off then go on but nothingh happens on display,push some seconds the led go off.
maybe lose firmware image on the sd card.
any help?

First thing is to charge it. Do not assume that because the last time you looked at it it had some charge that it still does.

Then try a factory reset. Try the method in https://help.kobo.com/hc/en-us/artic...HD-or-Kobo-Nia. For step 2, hold the power button down for about 20 seconds. The screen won't change, but, that will force it to turn off.

If neither of the above work, you may need to try the image. And I have sent a PM with the link to the image.

thanks a lot,battery looks ok,also i charged and tested by external tester device,factory reset seems no success,at last nothingh change,screen stay all white and led on.
now i try to charge firmw in original sd card if no success i try by another sd,stay tuned for news and big thanks again.

just solved,definitively SD card damage,recovery data no success.
image writted on new,more large SD card,now Clara is alive again.

No, there is no reason to think that it would work. The hardware is not the same. There are a couple of threads with people asking for the image for a Nia. I don't know if they got one.
