Theaters do sometimes make odd decisions though. I remember hearing how one version of Henry V (made in the 50's) had dialogue changed by the English theaters. They changed the word ba***rd to dastard for some reason. Which is odd because they were altering Shakespeare's words when they did so.

Anyway I'm just surfing the net a bit at the moment.

But your post makes me think that I wouldn't mind seeing Gone with the Wind on the big screen as I've only seen it on my television. The vivid colors typical of those 1940's movies that did invest in color filming have a quality that you don't see in modern movies anymore. I think it would look good on the big screen.

It did, the version we saw was the recently restored one, the quality was exceptional, it could have been filmed recently. Hopefully they'll play more classics soon.

Looking at the films that are schedules to be shown in the coming months I think I'll get a 10-film card (only €6,80 per film no matter what time of the day/week you go).

I'm looking at my desk and realizing it's in need of a thorough clean up. I only have a small space to work on projects at the moment and it's surrounded by piles of paper, crafting supplies and tool and other crap I didn't put away where they belong. So that'll be my project after work and errands this afternoon.

Right now I'm resting my back. The driveway id half shoveled. We lucked out (sorry, Boston) -- the storm moved slightly east and most of the snow wound up to the north and east of us. Still, shoveling 4 inches of snow is more than enough for me.
