Unsweetened iced tea is the drink of the day. Too hot for a hot drink and I think I overdosed on iced coffee.

OK, NOT having pizza and Talisker tonight. Too hot! Something simple and easy, no oven, and a couple of large glasses of carbonated WATER.

So's the heat! We only got to a mere 35C (95F), but "feels like 39". Fortunately, it'll drop down to below 20C (68F) tonight, and that's tolerable.

Yes, yesterday's showers, while insufficient to do much about the drought, did knock the temperature down a bit. Much more enjoyable.

It's been warm the last several days. The day before yesterday I had a sherbet float (pineapple sherbet and grapefruit soda), yesterday I had a root beer float and today I'm having an ice cold cherry coke.
