Yawning. Y'all may remember that we've been on a second shift schedule for ...well, ever since before I found MR, which has been a while. There was a short-lived experiment in Chris going to first shift about six years ago, that ended in us fighting constantly (and we are known to be not only the couple that doesn't fight, but for getting along nauseatingly well).
However, with the latest I ever work at the library being 7:30 p.m. and him being offered a modified first shift position that doesn't involve driving a forklift, we're trying it again. So far, so good. Neither of us has killed anyone, and we're both in fairly decent moods.

Living in a small town/rural community can be rather amusing at times. We have a Facebook fit our town for a variety of different announcements etc. One of the more common items is lost and found pets. Tonight someone posted; "anyone missing a tortise? " I figured that someone had found a larger than normal box turtle, but then the pictures were posted. Damned if it isn't a tortoise! Close to 2 feet long and probably a foot and a half wide. I'm pretty sure we're not on their world tour map. I can post some pictures tomorrow. I'm not going to go get on the computer right now. I don't know how to cut and paste from my phone

Rumour has it Amazon is going to open a Dutch webstore this year, some even say this month and a few say it'll be today. I don't count on it, but it seems my arm and hand has another opinion and the keep clicking the Amazon.nl link I have on my homepage (it still send you through to the UK website).

Pimping the birthday card for a friend. The inside was empty so I've added some colourful flag stamps, an embossed stamp and when those are all dry I'll add some sequins.

After adding the pen lines between the flag stamps I realized a stickle/glitter glue line would have been nicer.

I'm now trying to decide what to get at the craft store tomorrow. I'm going to pick up this months Project Life kit and I'm going to allow myself an extra €25 spending money. Next month is the big, yearly craft fair, so I'm saving up for that at the moment. But I need to get some Christmas stamps and some Christmassy coloured stickles and other embellishments so I can start pimping a stack of Christmas cards.
