heheh Did you make the blend yourself or is it one of your first loose leaf attempts?

It took me a while to figure out the right balance of temperature and timing for many of my teas. Having a tea timer helped a ton. OK, so all it is a kitchen timer preset for 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, and 5 minutes so it is really easy to use. Because it is hard to push the minute button five times, really it is....

Finishing off my second pot of Sencha. So that makes 10 cups of tea today.

I figure I get in a ton of steps going to and from the bathroom each day which only increases the health benefits of the tea. Anti-oxidants and exercise, what a great combination.

Making tea myself? Is it possible???

I bought loose tea online. It is not the first time I buy loose tea online, however, it is the first time for rooibos.
Although, this time it is a mega purchase of samples
9 Green Teas from China
6 Green Teas From Japan
9 Other Origin Green Teas
24 tisane European Herbs (mostly for my wife)
15 African Herbs--Rooibos
3 tisane South American Herbs

I am very curious about rooibos b/c it is caffeine free and I want to drink a bit less of black tea.

Some people do blend their own tea. If you were doing that you would be able to tinker with the proportions and decrease the amount of cinnamon in the tea.

I do. I've been doing it on Sunday mornings for years. What ever has spilled onto the kitchen table when I'm filling my tea bags for the week. I sweep it all together and put it into a tea bag. As I usually load three or four different teas, it makes quite a combination... Assam, Keemun, Darjeeling, Uva, Ceylon, etc., as well as various already blended teas.

To date, my own blends taste really, really bad.
