Well actually it still requires a phone to connect to. Battery life keeps fully self-contained phone watches from being practical.

Maybe the battery was implanted in his tummy cavity, and the wiring ran down his arm to the watch jobby .....

can you spot the iPad autocorrect in the second sentence of the following quote? I don't know why, but iPad's autocorrect doesn't like "It's" and a few other contractions. It is nice to hear from you again, though.

I've got a couple that my Droid does that drive me nuts, one is a b d all as one word for and. I'm not going to spell it out as maybe this device hasn't learned it yet

I hate autocorrect. Give me a squiggly red underline and let me decide if I want to follow the suggested change. Adding "'s" to a word shouldn't trigger an automatic response.

I'm back on my iPad now and I just turned off autocorrect. It's about time I did. Now for some misspelled words: fliught. fraight trane. blussom. Wonderful! the red line is under them. I should have done this months ago, but was under the mistaken impression that turning off autocorrect would disable the spell check function as well.

Any further mistakes are my own and I have no more excuse.

Maybe that's why I didn't turn off auto-correct earlier.

By the way: "Didn't" is underlined in red. Had autocorrect been on, it would have been changed into God knows what.

Yes, I interpretted the autocorrect for what it was!

I'm surprised at the dislike of "didn't", though. I think I just type didnt
and autocorrect adds the apostrophe for me and we're all happy.
I'll have to pay attention and see if it really does; but I *think* it works
that way. (Not on an iPad right now)

It's a pain in the backside. My iPad doesn't like apostrophes, period. It thinks just about every word containing one is misspelled.

I typed the previous post on my iPad using Tapatalk and just noticed something: Every post I make in that manner seems to automatically use the forum title as the post header. Wonder if it's that way for everyone, of if it's the version of Tapatalk I'm using?
