Just pushed a big set of updates to the APPS repository

1. included Surquizus new 3D-iconset (with BOMB for MineSweeper)
2. fixed hold-prv = doFirst and hold-next=doLast
3. major attempt to unify the apps UI
   • Added appIcons to all Apps (including Mahjong)
   • Added the ability to exit apps by tapping the AppIcon (touch-readers)
   • therefor removed some of the "QUIT/EXIT" buttons (hope this is OK Ben.)

Mark, with the new modifications of the repository made about icons, is it necesary to do anything change on the scripts (games and applications) to copy and build an installer to use on prs 505?

to get all the new icons you should put "kBookIcon.png" into "\firmware\505\Fsk\sony\ebook\application\resource s\scripts\" and "505_config.js" to "\script\core\compat\". Both files posted by Surquizu, in #360

Without this modifications, all games should show the "game" dice.

And you should replace the addon\starter-JS-files with those from Apps\...\addons

Everything looks fine. Just a couple of comments:

1. I think we can get rid of the Quit buttons in Chess and Draughts and move the remaining button into the top bar. This will unify the apps even more.
2. The name of the layout in MahJong might need to be moved. If the name includes a letter with a descender (like "g"), it gets obscured. The alternative is that the name is displayed in ALL CAPS.

Hi Mark,

I've discovered that you have hard-coded the icon numbers for Five Balls, Five in a Row, MahJonG and XO-Cubed in their xml files. The end result is, on my 600, the wrong icons appear in the top-left icon inside the game, even though they display correctly in the PRS+ menu.

Chess, Draughts, FreeCell and MineSweeper all work as expected, because of

this.appIcon.u = kbook.autoRunRoot._icon;

I also found a spelling error in Draughts.js (line 7) and a number of doubled semicolons in some of the other start-JS-files.

I definitely will!

And I'm thinking of pushing it to the "default" repository, too.
togehter with a patched version of ebook.so, which allows to

• bind hold-actions to the joy-stick-buttons (still working on my PRS-505),
• my workaround to get "pictures" and "audio" working on PRS-505, and if I'm brave
• include rudimentary standby-picture-support for PRS-505.
