And so, at last, Barak Obama walked into the Oval Office and up to his new desk, gently gliding his hand over the wood savouring its feel as he walked round, sat down and then reached his hand back over his head and, in pure mission impossible style, pulled off his mask.

She looked at the tiny amount of food remaining after the warlords had taken what they wanted, and then at the faces of her two surviving, near starved children, thought "this is not right" and with those thoughts set out on a path that would change a continent.

Thanks a lot for doing this, Don. It's been a lot of fun reading some pretty funny stuff. And I always love it when people here will spend a few minutes and write something. Sometimes I feel like a lot of readers can be a bit like television viewers and sit back and absorb stuff but never produce anything from it. But we know they can (readers, that is) and pretty darn well sometimes! Good on ya for doin' this.

The first time I saw the book that changed my life, it was in the hand of a corpse. And I did it (the corpse, I mean, not the book). I had to shoot the perp because I'm a Copyright Police Officer and he was openly holding an Out of Print book.
I' don't know what pressed me to take that book and open it, but I did it, knowing I was risking a death sentence. But that leather cover, the golden carved name on it and that strange title, a number with no particular meaning really moved me. So, still asking myself what "1984" stands for, I begun to read the first sentences of it... Sorry for my english. |

The book is finished and available right now. It's available as a Sony lrf file, but I'll work on the .prc version later this afternoon.
THANK YOU, AGAIN, EVERYONE. This was a wonderful experience, and I'm still laughing over some of the sentences. Don |
