Did you switch off your Pi about 14 hours ago? Then switched on again about 11 hours ago? To start photprism again. docker start photoprism_photoprism_1 Wait about a minute, then try http://192.168.xxx.yyy:2342 again. What is the output of docker ps |

Yes, turned it off and on Now start photoprism again and it works again - thanks Is that necessary to start photoprism every time I turn the PI off/on or is there a possibility to create an entrance Linux autostart (as in windows) to start photoprism automatically by procedure off/on or reboot? If not, no problem to think on it and to start photoprism manually |

To make photoprism start on every (re)boot is relatively easy. To make photoprism stop on shutdown can be done, but this is difficult. I just do it manually docker stop photoprism_photoprism_1 To start photoprism at every (re)boot: crontab -e Add to bottom of file: Code:
@reboot /bin/sleep 120 && /usr/bin/docker start photoprism_photoprism_1 |

Just added 5 folders with 5 huge mp4 videos (max=3,3 GB) and some pics, if you do not use the complete "new index" but just "files index" it took 4.5 minutes, that is rather acceptable In the background run a slideshow on the screen at the same time, temperature is 55°C |

I think it's the number of files, not the size that determines the time it takes. Hey, it's running cool! |

Hi, are you fine? Just a small "problem": As you may remember I own now 2 freemyip accounts, the first one we installed is for the ebooks, located on PI 01. This account is always present from outside as the token is set as the homepage of my browser The second freemyip account runs for my pictures at Photoprism at PI 02. Naturally I cannot set this token as well as my browser's homepage. Hence, the entrance to this freemyip-address disappears after one day. This makes it difficult to send links for download to friends as they report a broken link that does not work - what have I to do do avoid this? |

I'm fine. I recently bought an Arzopa monitor to have some fun with, and I like it. Didn't we setup a crontab line to make the freemyip.com url work with your daily changing IP (somewhere during the night)? If we did, just add the line for the second freemyip.com url to the crontab. not sure, whether we did but: a line for the second freemyip? Remember: This is PI 02 with no ebooks on it; hence there is no first line for freemyip |

xxxxxx.freemyip.com points to your external IPv4 address. yyyyyy.freemyip.com points to that same external IPv4 address In your fritz!box you point port aaaaaa to an internal IPv4 (Pi01) address and port, while you point port bbbbbb to another IPv4 (pi02) address and port. First check if there is a crontab file (crontab -e or sudo crontab -e) on either of your Pi's. |
