Sometimes it doesn't pay to be cheap. You saved the money, now the question is will you ever get what you paid for and when.

Yeah, something to consider for future orders. But then, I've done the slow shipping bit from Amazon just to get a $1 digital credit. AAFES on the other hand is saving me $30. A substantially larger discount.

Yeah so have I, but I'm just waiting a couple of extra days, and I know it's going to show up.

You got the discount, but still don't have what you ordered. I guess it depends on what's most important to you.

Today I purchased from Amazon a year's subscription to Stereophile Magazine for less than $4. This is digital, and goes directly to my kindle.

Yes, it is a 3rd party. Still I would have thought that they could help me locate the item, or help when the vendor did not respond to the email. I had a third party vendor do a similar thing. I ordered a bumper for my truck. It was a really low price. I live in Georgia. I tracked the package to a middle California UPS Distribution Center. The Seller refused to send me another one. Instead they refunded me my money. When I went to order it again the price was $150.00 more than the previous price. I feel the they deliberately miss shipped the item to keep from having to sell it to me at the lower price.

I suggest complaining to Amazon about "bad" 3rd party vendors/sellers. It might not do any good, but at least you can tell Amazon how the seller is treating their customers.

Be sure and leave bad ratings everywhere this seller has a presence -- Amazon, BBB, eBay, Etsy, reddit, Yelp, etc.

My watch finally arrived after two missed delivery dates by FedEx (13th & 15th). This thing spent more time in a warehouse than it did on the road.

Not sure if this is a BF special, but Netflix is offering a free 30 day trial. I had Netflix in the past but cancelled. I was surprised they let me do the 30 day trial since I’m a former subscriber, but they did.

I informed Amazon about them and left bad ratings with why I did so.

Yes, me too. Actually when I <tracked> the package via Amazon, the vendor site stated that it had never even dispatched! I will leave Poor ratings wherever I can. I will even complain to the USA headquarters of this EU distribution center. The company (Instant Pot) enjoys an excellent reputation for Customer Service in the USA. Don't know what is going on in the UK.

I actually bought two at the same time. The one shipped to me in Greece actually arrived! Perhaps because someone pocketed the 50% extra shipping costs (35 euros on a 70 euro item)? Problem is that it appears to be faulty and I have absolutely no response from the Customer Service! I already own/use one so I know how to use it. To say that I feel ripped off is an understatement. Thanks for letting me vent...

Another example: I ordered a couple of rubber gaskets, to fix a toilet, from a third party, via Amazon. Didn't get them with the main part of my order. Invoice had a new shipping date (I don't remember how far away the date was, but it wasn't soon) for them, got notices of delays, several new shipping dates. This went on for at least 4 months. Seller sent me a message, after a month or so, basically asking, "are you sure that you really want these?" Yes, I did, I told them. I think that it was about a month afterward that I finally got them!

My theory: it was going to cost more to ship them than what they cost. But the gaskets were only $3 or $4 at the most! Why just ship them, lose a dollar or two, and be done with it!

I'm glad that there is another toilet in the house.
