If this is a legit message, the agent is probably just rounding it up. If someone asked me how much the Voyage cost in the UK I'd say "£170", not "£169.99".

I find it a bit weird that they'd release new Kindles mid to late November though considering that's firmly in the Black Friday spending frenzy season. I'd think people would be after anything-as-long-as-it's-reduced rather than full-price-just-released-stuff especially as BF has now spilled over from the US to other countries.

We'll find out in a few weeks

Didn't goodereader say back when the new fire tablets were leaked that Amazon were going to announce the Voyage 2 at the same time? Almost 2 months later.

Wonder if the Voyage 2 will be waterproof to compete with the new Nook and the Kobo H20. Anyway doesn't matter, hasn't appeared you can buy a Voyage from Amazon and post it to Australia, only way to buy is price gouged local stores.

Teleread said something about a Paperwhite with increased memory. Does anyone believe they will release the 300 ppi Paperwhite with more than 4 gb storage? That would tempt me, if it had 8 gb, for instance. I embed fonts in all the books I put on my Voyage, so the files take up more space.

I believe that Amazon may or may not release a new ereader.
I also believe that someone could have made up that CS report.
If I had to take a guess, I would almost bet money that Amazon or some other American company will deeply discount one of the ereaders for Black Friday.
