That's for sure! I'd been delaying purchases and have earned $11 in no-rush shipping digital credits since the offer returned.

Does anyone know in which order the credits are used - by date credited or by expiry date first?
I have a mix of £1 credits (valid until mid April) and £3 credits (valid until end January), some of the £1 credits were earned before the £3 credits - I'm just trying to work out what I *need* to spend before 31st Jan and what I can keep for later.

I don't know. I'm assuming that the £1 credits will be used first and that I'll need to spend both £3 and £1 credits by 31st January.

It would be nice if it were the other way around, but I'm not going to risk it.

Nothing in the promotional credits T&Cs that I could see about the order in which they are deducted. Wouldn't kill them to add that somewhere, oh and a page listing credits, what they're valid for and expiry dates On top of my mix of no-rush £1 and £3 digital credits, I also seem to have collected a £1 credit valid for videos only until January 2017.

I'm fortunate enough to have £91.62 in promotional credit. But that does mean I'll be spending about 45% of my 2016 ebook budget in January!

Edit: another 6 no-rush orders in the bag (for now). Surprisingly, the delivery date given is Thursday 24th. I was expecting, and would actually have preferred, after Xmas.

Edit 2: even better, it looks like they're shipping stuff out regardless of the no-rush status I have 7 out of 9 orders already showing as "preparing for dispatch"

Amazon's a little wonky when applying the credits. At one point when I had digital credits and a gift card, I thought I was using the digital credits at the deadline, but Amazon instead took the money from my gift card.

I didn't notice it until I wanted to order other merchandise and found my gift card balance had been reduced. It was confusing dealing with CS because by that time, the digital credits had expired. Amazon eventually got it straightened out.

Anyway, the moral of the story is that if you also have a gift card on your account, you might want to check right away to see that your digital credits are applied properly to a digital purchase.

I've had that happen in the past and had a similar situation the other day when purchasing an Android app.

Recent no-rush shipping credits can now be used for apps (shows here under "Software/Video Games") in addition to video rentals, select e-books, etc. I had Amazon Coins I wanted to use for an app purchase, but instead of using Coins, it took payment from my no-rush credits first! I'd been saving no-rush credits for a particular $9.99 e-book and was only 50 cents from my goal, so I was a bit miffed.
