I'm searching for places for my internship. I need to find one or I won't be able to graduate from uni! Should I intern in a museum since I'm a History major? Hmm

It was because See Fees' new lord and master (Comcast) decided the show was too expensive.

I've recently found myself grinding my teeth without being aware of doing it. Never done that before, so I'm confused as to why I have suddenly started.

This may be caused by stress/anxiety. I used to clench my teeth subconsciously during sleep. |

Possibly, though I'm not more stressed than usual at the moment, if anything, a little less than usual. I particularly find myself doing it when playing computer games recently...

Oh I miss Eureka it was such a fun show. When the Little Man gives me time I want to do a Eureka and Babylon 5 rewatch. So in about 16 years

Headaches and jaw pain were normal for me. It sucked. Talk to your dentist about getting an appliance that helps keep you from grinding. It will protect your teeth, limit the headaches, and help retrain you to not grind your teeth. It took me five years with special retainers to realign my jaws to "fix my TMJ" the retainers prevented me from doing what ever it was I was doing that was causing the issue. We know mine was stressed related because once I started using the retainers I ended up with mouth ulcers. I think my 6 months in Italy for college was really the cure. I came back and didn't have any more mouth ulcers or jaw issues. So retainer and go to Italy |

I used to be very stressed at the time. I was told to relax, it wasn't easy but I managed to reduce my stress. Now when I open my mouth, my jaw clicks/cracks and also sometimes when I chew. I think the habit caused damage to my jaw joints.

I've had full blown TMJ for years. one thing that helps is to put a knuckle in-between my jaws ans bite down. that kind of helps realign everything for awhile at least. |

They can make retainers that essentially hold your mouth in a specific position. They are uncomfortable at first but you get used to it. We used a series of them when I was diagnosed with TMJ. The doctor wanted to realign the jaw so I had one I wore at night which pushed the jaw out, stretching the disc and allowing it to heal over time. As the tissue healed, we used a new retainer to slowly move the jaw back into its normal allignment. I had a different retainer I wore during the day to help with allignment issues but it wasn't nearly as restrictive as the night time one.
They can do something similar with a mouth guard so that your teeth are held in place to stop the grinding or they have mouth guards that cover the teeth so the grinding doesn't damage them but that won't help the headaches. But the biggie is learning how to deal with stress which is one of the major causes of grinding. A combination of moving, graduating high school, and developing self confidence reduced my stress levels. The move actually helped a lot, once I got over the stress of moving, because a new school and teachers who couldn't compare my learning disabled but intelligent self to my genius brothers stopped a lot of the negative comparisons and helped me a ton.
