I'm careful with Christmas cards. Won't take them out of the envelope if I peek in and see glitter.

I had one friend who loved glitter bombs. The carpet in their apartment had to be replaced when they moved out due to overinflation.

I have four nieces and one nephew about the same age, who sometimes visit as a group, birthdays etc. When they were toddlers they would invariably leave a liberal sprinkle of glitter about the place… ten years later I still see an occasional glint in a corner.
A small price to pay for the joy of being in their company for a few hours. They're older now, so there are no sprinkles of glitter, but they're also no fun to be with. Over-indulged brats who usually break something. Don't see as much of them these days… fortunately. BR |

Last September, during our vacation, my sister and I visited Amersfoort. We had a lovely time and I discovered an needlework/fiber craft store. Unfortunately they were closed at the time. Most of this type of store focus on knitting and crocheting, if they have any embroidery materials it's usually some basic floss and some (dusty) kits, which are usually of traditional design and don't interest me. But this store looked like it has a lot embroidery/cross stitch supplies.
Next Tuesday the cleaner is coming and I thought I might visit Amersfoort again and visit the store. But I just checked their website and saw that they're on vacation until the 18th. I might go next Friday or wait for the 30th when the cleaner is coming again. |

I had to cancel out of a survey that would've paid me 10 GBP (!) because of technical issues.
I also flooded the bathroom. Not my best day. |

That dread as you watch the water level in the toilet bowl rise...

Go, I say,
Go on your way, do not tarry, water carry, let it flow abundantly, and prepare a bath for me! |
