Oh yes .... I'll be wearing the splint for at least another month and possibly longer. My hand still swells up whenever I take it off for very long, so on it stays.

Some parts of me are still sore (my shins for some reason, still very painful to the touch), and my wrist still hurts, but it's not too bad .... manageable. I'm not screaming f**k at the top of my lungs when I bump it against something.

All of those are signs of at least some small progress.

Thanks, everybody! Wow, I don´t know what to say...
Since my birthday´s on the first day of spring, I was hoping to arrange a barbecue in the garden (there had been years when the weather was real nice), but today we had -1 degrees an SNOW!!! Brrrrr. So it was just lots of cake and hot tea

What I'm doing right now: waiting for my husband and younger daughter to come pick me up from work so we can go out and celebrate the 9th anniversary of her adoption.

What my older daughter is doing: celebrating her 18th birthday with her boyfriend and his family.

I'm counting down! Only 32 minutes until the last episode of Battlestar Galactica starts.

I have so many questions about the series and I hope most of them are answered with this ending. I've got tissue handy because I'll end up crying at some point during the episode.

The show is over. I'm emotionally drained. That was quite a bit of information to process. Now that I know the end, I want to start watching the series again from the beginning. Maybe not tonight though.

i'm waiting for pattie to drop over for the evening, she's still upset with the new $1.58 per pack tax on cigarettes to pay health care so she is smoking more and paying more tax, when they tax doughnuts they will have gone too far and have a real problem from me
