I heard a story this morning on NPR about ebook readers. The last comment was a quip asking whether Fahrenheit 451 would burn a Kindle. This intrigued me so much that I nearly hit a tree as I was driving. It sounds like a great experiment to try! Unfortunately, I don't own a Kindle or I would do it myself. Is anyone else interested in popping their Kinny into the oven for a trial run? Don't forget to preheat to 451 F (233 C). And if you could post a YouTube video of the result, I would be most appreciative.

You know, that's worth buying a Kindle for... Too bad I just don't have the funds.

What is it with guys and wanting to destroy/blow things up!! My husband loves to watch a show called, "Mythbusters" where they spend a large amount of their time blowing up whatever they can. For full disclosure: I will say that my older son and daughter are right there with him cackling away when there's a big explosion.

But then you'd have to buy a copy of Fahrenheit 451 and support a brad author.

All guys (and probably most gals) have this gene called the "I just wanna blow s*** up!" gene. I usually supress mine but sometimes it comes out and I gotta see something go BOOM!

This gal definitely has that gene

And I have a long held theory that Gerry Anderson did most of his TV shows just so he could blow models up...
