Use one of the other methods or read it as Amazon intended in a Kindle app. :P

No, I was doing kindle for mac. My amazon is digital only I would let someone get to the book if they could do it for me because they cant order anything

You can no longer remove the DRM with the current KindleforMac. So unless you get a pre-2024 Kindle and registered it to your account, you are out of luck buying eBooks from Amazon.

Although it is the easiest method to use, that is not the only option. See the first post in this thread for others.

I am not a Mac user so I cannot say for certain but it may be possible to run Kindle for PC on a Mac under Parallels or something similar. Android emulation is another possibility.

I'm so glad for all of these resources! Luckily I got a Kindle Scribe from pre-2024 so I can do download and transfer with my Mac (for now). (Though my fire was listed as an option)

Quick question:
1). Does downloading count towards my usage of the books? Does it mess up on anything?

2). Just confirming, so right now with books published sometime 2023 to present, NoDRM does not work right? I tried stripping the Will of the Many but no luck.

1) No. Using download & transfer should not mess up anything.

2) NoDRM works with books published in 2023 and 2024. Don't forget to insert the serial number of your Scribe, though.

Yeah, I seldom read on a Kindle either. I don't really like their software or hardware. And I almost never use their apps for anything but downloading.
