Is it possible to make it so that epub books open inside Koreader? I like the book interface in Nickel but I would prefer to read in Koreader.

I believe PocketBook devices can do that, but Kobo devices cannot. You have to use KOReader for both navigation and reading if you want to use KOReader at all.

Has there been progress on getting KOReader to run on the new Kobo/Tolino (namely the Libra/Vision color models)?

I've been using KOReader on my Tolino Vision 5 in connection with my Kavita server, and am missing the ability to just go and grab my books off my server via it...

I can't speak to Tolino, but I've been running koreader on a Libra Color since the 2024.07 release. What are you looking for specifically? (no support for the stylus as a writing device, just as a pointer, but otherwise I haven't seen anything "missing")

That's probably a question about 5.x firmware.

Help! I've been having a heck of a time trying to install KOReader on my Kobo Elipsa 2e and I'm not sure what I'm messing up. I'm using a mac. The install script runs with no problems, and nickelmenu installs. However, when I try to launch koreader, either through nickelmenu or kfmon, it gives me a bomb error. Here's a link to the crash log file.

For whatever reason it looks like some files/folders are just not there, but again, I have no clue why this is happening. I've also attempted to do the manual install and use a nightly build, all to no avail.

Is your MacOS does things like unprepossessing archives when it shouldn't be?
