Hi, I tried sideloading an upgrade for my Kobo Mini and things went wrong, I've been stuck at a screen with vertical dots and with the green light blinking for a couple of days. I'm thinking that restoring the whole part of the file system that contains the user data (the editable part) could help, and that I can obtain that from the Kobo Mini image?

Thanks for the images for N418 Kobo Libra 2. As stated there are currently 3 version of boards with the newer boards labelled as rev E and G. Any idea where I look for the label. I assume if I cannot see this then I have the early version and use that image to flash.

Hello,
I was fixing my sons’ Kobo Wifi and something got corrupted on the internal 2GB where it boots but can’t see any books - either internally or on the external SD.

Can someone please direct me to a firmware that is compatible
So I can get this working again? I prefer latest working but anything functional is fine. I think it was 1.19 or something like that.

If you look near where the battery connectors are soldered to the motherboard, you should see a printed label reading 37NB-E70K1M+xYz (6A0, 6C4, 6A1, 6F0 as examples). Looking at the last 3 character group, the middle letter appears to be the revision. See the attached image for an example.

Generally, start with that and if the image doesn't work, try the other 2 images. I don't own a Libra 2 and am passing on what others have said.

I want to give you a GREAT BIG THANK YOU for saving my Kobo Clara HD. You have made an old retired man very happy. It was really very easy following your instructions and using the img file and a real joy to see the ereader come to life once again.
