An uninspiring and uninspired New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. When NZ does Sauvignon Blanc well, it does it very well. But when they don't, it's a pretty boring wine. Now I know why this was on sale.

Ah, sorry for the disappointment from the neighbours. Some of their wines are beautiful, but I suppose they can’t all be equally good.

Gin and biscuits due shortly, but I have to feed the dogs first, given that they are as usual tottering on the brink of starvation.

Oh, I agree. As I said, when they do Sauvignon Blanc well, they do it very well indeed, and I'm a big fan of SBs in general. They're a good, food-friendly wine that is delightful and refreshing when done well. And this wasn't bad. Just not particularly good. Of course, it was unfortunately juxtaposed to the very best of BC Sauvignon Blanc, a bottle of La Frenz.

And yes, I never yet met a dog who wasn't tottering on the brink. Just ask them.

Oh yes, he is really deprived. He is sleeping on his couch blanket and grabbed mine to cover with.
He also has a living room floor cushion and blanket. A library cushion and 2 blankets (one in front of the heater.) A kitchen blanket when the sun is shining, 2 pillows, a sheet and a blanket in the bedroom (for when he isn't using our bed) and a cushion in the bathroom.

Celestial seasoning true blueberry tea.
