Very first post to say...Woo Hoo, mine was just delivered and is being opened as we speak! I'm at work but the daughter I bought it for has a huge smile on her face.

Oh, I should probably add...I ordered on 7/28 and I'm in Oregon.

But I checked the UPS website (don't know why I didn't think of that before) and the destination is Brussels. So with a little luck mine should be arriving tomorrow at work. I'm taking my charger (which arrived a few days after the pre-order) with me, just in case.

Well, I just got a welcome email from Amazon Kindle Support regarding my recent purchase. Checked the Amazon order site again, and FINALLY

03:44:39 PM Whitestown IN US Shipment has left seller facility and is in transit

This is the same outfit (ENSENDA)that delivered my coffeepot at 6:00 Sunday evening. But they are also the same outfit that returned an order because they couldn't find the address. I only get hundreds of Amazon deliveries here yearly (kidding). Oh well, at least I can quit looking out the front door, hoping it is there. But I will get it on release day (if they can find the address).

Hope you get something soon. I don't know how long after they updated the shipping soon I got the email, but they will update your account before you get the email. Just another thing to obssess about!

I'm jeaslous - still showing "we'll email you with an estimated delivery date". But my cover was delivered today.

UPS just delivered mine, and my first impression of the loading screen is OMG THIS SCREEN IS BLACK.

I honestly couldn't believe the difference in the black levels of the "kid under a tree" picture from the K2I to the K3(graphite).
