Well, you could start out by adding new crew members. How about a talking dog and an invisible gibbon?

Hmm... it's not a huge ship, passenger-wise... but it's been considered before. It's not off the table.

And there's already a secondary character who's almost a gibbon...

I'm just beginning to feel an idea formulating.....this is exciting.

Unfortunately I can't/won't really discuss it as from past experience I know that if I do, the drive to write the story goes away.

I'm not writing anything. But I was pondering this morning a collaborative work of fiction by MRers. An unplanned, uncoordinated story by just two people who we know from experience will creatively entertain us. We pick the people, start the thread, let them decide who goes first, and then we sit back and watch them have at it - with plenty of kibitzing from us along the way, of course. I have a couple of people in mind but don't know if they'd go for it or not.

Nah. That wouldn't be any fun.

Ya know how sometimes you'll just fall in love with a character or two from a particular book, and hate leaving them behind?

Well, I just had one of those GOOD writing sessions about one of my favourite characters from DEAD(ish) ... and I think this is going to spawn yet another sequel

Yeah, I know, all I need to do is actually FINISH something...

But anyway, sense aside, the new serial is making its debut on Friday, and I'm hoping NF fans will be happy *bounce*
