I picked " Winter Men "

I went with Little Sister. None of the rest really appealed to me any. (The Last Girl has an interesting premise, but sounds way too bleak for my tastes.) But the combo of James Bond and Q into a single character with a female that's as brave and resourceful to him does sound intriguing. I hope it works as well as it sounds.

Maybe you can return it and get another one? I've never tried to return a Kindle First book, so I don't know if you could get another one.

I used to hate present tense with the passion of a thousand suns until I started reading more young adult. Even then, at first, I would try to avoid the present tense ones. But I guess I got used to it somehow. I'm still confused by how that happened. :P Maybe because it's so bloody common in YA.

Now reading something written in second person... Still a struggle. Book: "You woke up after the party and..." Me: "No, not me! I'm sitting here in the B&N wondering why you wrote this dang thing in second person."

I still get one, but it's around the 3rd or 4th day of the month before they arrive. By then I've already picked thanks to doing these posts.
