@Shel re: Facebook - I didn't jump onboard until after I left the corporate environment. I knew if I got on Facebook I wouldn't be able to behave myself, so I waited until then. Not that I'm that crazy on there, but I like being myself. But then, I've never been the type to call in sick and then post party pics anyway. Some people have no common sense. My FB friends are mostly cool - the ones I see in real life know not to tag me in a photo without my permission.

So many of them are always on the road, it's the only way to keep up with them. And of course, friends from back home. I, too, had a few of those "why are you friending me?" moments. There's one girl I don't ever remember talking to in high school who acted like we were great friends from way back. I mean, it's not that I didn't like her, our paths just never really crossed.

I've unfriended people for being too political or overly religious on my wall. I stay away from politics and stuff on there for the most part. That makes my Facebook wall a lot more peaceful and fun than many I've seen.

I barely use Facebook. I learned I don't want to know what past lives I've interacted with are doing, and by "past" I mean from-yesterday-back-to-the-womb. I certainly don't want to socialize on that scale. I maintain an account under a pseudonym that school "friends" and work "mates" can't find, and but for about four people it is empty of connections (other than things like Runkeeper and Foursquare and some Places I like, which I keep for my own amusement/journalling). I mostly use it for when people give links to stuff behind the Facebook sign-in wall.

@Sharky: Well, the a$$ shot didn't go as well as I'd hoped because my jeans weren't tight enough. I've attached one that shows that I really have no a$$ at all. Thanks guys. My roommate, the Ice Fairy/budding fashion photographer was griping every time I turned around - "You need to get some tighter jeans". He had so much fun, and he shows a lot of potential as a photog. He's never done any real photography before, and he was a little awkward at first, but once he got into it, he did really well. And he LOVES it!

He wants to hit the thrift stores for props and wacky clothes, find new locations... he's a madman.

RE: Photo shoot: Yeah, the jeans needed some work. I've had that problem too: every time I wanted an @$$ shot my good jeans were in the wash! I recommend Rockies for that if you can find them in Nashville. But otherwise, great pic! I'm assuming you actually play the guitar? She's a beauty.
