I called my coworker passive aggressive.
to his face
I'm sure there will be consequences

I would soooo love to have co-workers that measure above a turnip on the signs of life scale

Eh, he may like the term you called him.

But I do hope he never reads this forum! Turnips don't rate dreadfully high on any scale.

But... but why?

Honestly, I like algebra, but I like puzzles, too.

Maybe you have a boring teacher?

Well done.

I suggest that you suspend the practice of calling your co-workers vegetables until you resolve your own job description, however....

Edit: oh, wait, I thought you called him a turnip. Never mind. I think I should get back to finishing that last paper before I lose my mind completely....

Neko, my brain just doesn't work with algebra. Or puzzles, either. Feel like tutoring me?

Ikea is an acceptable exception to that. Especially if you're talking about the endless maze of airless warehousing that seems to suck all desire to live out out of you. Some of their furniture I rather like...

And to end this post on a positive note I love "Fear and Loathing"

When one hates, loathes, and despises something(someone) it's because one hasn't learned to like that someone(something). Everything(one) is a programmed experience...

I hated algebra and failed with miserable scores, until I was tutored by someone with a passion for it and convinced me why.

For me, now, there is no white, no black, just passionate grey...

Last edited by yvanleterrible; 05-20-2009 at 09:33 AM. Reason: I should be tutored in English too. Damned typos!

I'd give you karma for being the first person I've come across to use passionate and grey together in a positive way, but I can't. So have some virtual k instead

I like opera, I like classic music - but I do NOT like to hear the same freaking opera (the same freaking aria, sung in a very high woman voice) over and over again.
My neighbour is hearing it for the tenth time (I counted) today - and its the same *** aria for the last weeks. I cannot stand another hearing. I really cannot. I already closed my windows and retreated from my balcony, and I would be using earplugs if I werent waiting for an important phone call ... I think I will never again be able to hear a belted sopran aria.
