May I highly recommend a Contigo mug for your coffee!

Never spills. Keeps coffee hot, slurpy top allows you to drink when it's still very hot, etc. And it fits virtually any mug holder, though my DW actually just lays it down alongside, knowing it won't spill.

I'm having my Peet's Major Dickason's blend coffee this morning in my Contigo mug. (silver for coffee, dark red for tea. )

That's the thing - I have a Contigo. Something in my bag managed to pop it open as I was picking it up. I have NO IDEA what. I have never had a spill with this mug in 5+ years. I'll have to assume user error for now.

This is a different Contigo. Notice the top on this one is different - it has a piece that rotates 180 degrees on the top to lock the whole thing. The other difference is the slurpy opening -- MUCH better for really hot beverages. I've had the other Contigos open up on me in my briefcase. Fortunately, only with faux San Pellegrino, so not sticky or messy.

Currently drinking Murchie's Balmoral Blend tea out of my dark red contigo.
