I do think they're running out of steam, though. I still like it, but I don't believe they'll ever top their premier episode. Of course, that's where Jack Carter was first introduced to the town, its offbeat inhabitants, and its special nature. You can only do that once.

Both of you should be horsewhipped... I'm trying to stay under a thousand calories a day. I want to lose 15 kilo in the next two months. We've made our reservations to go paragliding in October and if I can lose 15 kilo I'll have much better flight capability with the size of the parachutes the school owns!

(Not just dieting... I've also placed an exercise book under my pillow.)

Pretty picture - hey we were going to do that but never did. Our friend who did now has a heart condition and has taken up archery instead.

I am not eating them either I just look at the pictures. I also have not had any alcohol for a few weeks - because when I lose enough to drink again ( a little deal I made with myself and only one kilo to go) I still have to lose 10 kilos. waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh

Have watched para sending in Chamonix, Refused to try when a man fell of the side of the mountain as his chute failed to open correctly . OUCH.

Feeding Lucas. Three weeks ago I wanted him to go four hours in between feedings, I wanted that extra hour of sleep so bad. Now he is going four hours between feeldngs at night and all I can think about is how great five hours would be. Poor little guy cannot please me.

Eureka was a great show but it is done now. Stupid Sci Fi channel. This last season was a bit rough, but they were expecting another season and I think they were building to something.

Hmmm rewatching Eureka on DVD when the Olympics are over, not a bad way to spend maternity leave.

I was an avid archer when I was in my late 20'-early 30's. I'd love to get back into it, and plan to when we move back to Thailand. There was none going on when we lived there before, but a range opened in the town we lived in, and from all reports, is doing well! I had one of the very first compound bows on the market, a Bear 'Tamerlane'... Had all of a 25% let-off! Today's bows have up to 75% let-off, laser sights, anti-vibration devices, etc., and all the shooters are using pistol-grip trigger releases instead of fingers! It's a whole new sport!

Oddly enough, it was in Val d'Isere that I first saw it. There was a paragliding school there but they required five days and we only had three... I'm making up for it now! Surprised that the fellow you saw didn't have a reserve chute...
