Cadbury Mini Eggs are on sale at Target so I have five bags of them in my drawer. I'll probably add to that...

Harney & Sons English Breakfast, which according to their website is a Keemun blend. It's a little bit more bitter than I'd expect, but that might be on purpose. It's good, though.

Yes, a bitter edge is quite typical of an English Breakfast Blend. Seems a waste of good Keemun, but then it doesn't usually include good Keemun.

Peet's Major Dickason's Blend coffee right now, though I have a pot of Balmoral Blend on the way.

At $1.50 an ounce, it's probably not the good stuff. It has a strong flavor and fruity sweetness, but it's more astringent and bitter than it should be. I was kind of laughing at my own mental double-standard; it's mediocre if I compare it to other Keemuns, but it's much better than similarly-priced English Breakfasts. If nothing else, it reinforces for me how much I like Keemun.

Yup, I love Keemuns as well. But I also have a place for a nice, astringent English Breakfast to start out my day. The key is that astringent is not the same as bitter. Given what a lot of English Breakfast Blends taste like, it's not surprising that the English so often put milk in their tea.
