I've been drinking Murchie's English Breakfast Blend all day, but I'm done with this pot and I think I'm going to need to switch to something non-caffeinated so it's faux San Pellegrino for the rest of the day.

Pu Erh in my cup.

Very tired. Little Man woke up with a cough and struggling to breath. WE took him to the ER, it reminded me of one of my asthma attacks. He has the Croup. His cough settled down when we got into the car, apparently cold air helps the swollen areas in the throat relax and the coughing is stopped. They gave him a steroid and said he should be fine in a few days. We have the humidifier on high in his bedroom. He was not happy when the Doctor told us that we can take him to the freezer if he starts coughing again. He did like the popsicle and apple juice that he got. He loves that he gets to stay home.

I have to be at work for a briefing.

Sick children are always stressful for the parents. I sincerely hop Little Man gets better soon.

Milk Oolong.

Little Man had a small cough yesterday but nothing horrific. Everyone made it through the night just fine. The other explanation is that I was too exhausted to hear the coughing. He is going to school today which makes him sad.

The last tea of the day, and the last of my gunpowder green tea. As I mentioned, this was a pleasant surprise. I'm not really a fan of most green teas and I don't know how I came into possession of this stuff, but it really was (much!) more like an Oolong -- in taste, color, strength ... just about every way. I'll be keeping my eyes open for another can at the Asian market.

I'm not sure what I'll open for tomorrow.

No tea today at all, though lots of faux San Pellegrino. And now, Bruchladdich Port Charlotte while watching a Harry Potter movie. (It's Saturday Night at the Movies.)

I hit Chinatown in Chicago yesterday and scored some Prince of Peace Organic Golden Monkey.

Sounds lovely. I just finished a mug of the very last of my Peet's Anniversary Breakfast Blend tea as I watched the finals of the Women's World Curling Championship from Beijing. Team Canada (Rachel Homan's rink) wins it, 8-3 with hand shakes in the 8th end. A perfect run through the entire Championship for Homan, going 12-0 and bringing the title back to Canada.
