Jasmine Oolong for the drive in and Sumatra coffee in my cup now. A pot of Pu Erh has been brewed.

We got a few inches of heavy snow. I decided to sleep in, shovel, eat breakfast and then go to work. The roads were fine for me so no worries there. I am laughing at all the unhappy Govies who are annoyed that the government didn't close. They get paid for those days. Contractors, like myself, have to take vacation. Normally we are the ones bitching that we could have come in but the government closed when it didn't have to. So lots of unhappy Govie friends who either decided to stay home and use leave or came into work but wanted the day off paid.

No sympathy from me.

JeJu Green. Nursing a sore wrist from an ice slip. Nothing broken, it rotates fine and all the fingers move, but probably a mild sprain.
