The TeaHaus Scottish Breakfast Blend tea. One thing I love about Fairmont hotels is the ability to make tea in my room.

I drink decaf tea in the late afternoon and evening. Flavored teas somewhat mask the muddy flavor of decaf, so I usually drink Earl Grey. If you can find a store that carries "Triple Leaf" brand tea, their decaf jasmine is pretty good.

I have also noticed that decaf tea has just enough caffeine left to take the edge off a withdrawal headache. If you're trying to quit caffeine, that might be something to keep in mind.

Try Rooibos teas. I drank them when I was pregnant and there are some good blends and infused flavors.

I think that it would be pretty much impossible to find a UK hotel without in-room tea/coffee making facilities. We found it odd that in-room tea/coffee making facilities aren't always available in Canadian/American hotels. We stopped at the Seattle Fairmont for a couple of nights last time we were on the West Coast and that did indeed have such facilities.

Ah, The Olympic in Seattle. A wonderful old hotel. Though it's been several years since I've stayed there, I remember it fondly.

Yes, I would expect UK hotels to have actual tea making facilities. But finding them in NA is rather more difficult. Even the Fairmonts didn't used to have both, but they've now configured rooms with a Kuerig coffee maker and an actual kettle to boil water that isn't coffee flavoured. I'm not a particular fan of their tea bags, so I usually bring my own loose tea and my paper tea pouches.

Unfortunately, I ran out of time this morning, and didn't get to make tea, so I'm reduced to water now that my Faubourg Paris Latte is finished.
