You're sure it wasn't praying over a chicken? You know, saying grace before dining?

*pokes head around the door and looks around*
Hi! Yes, I am still alive. No, I have not been smothered to death by the ongoing pile of school stupidity I am marking time through until September when I graduate. (Yet. It is still a distinct possibility.) Just thought I'd remind y'all that I am still among the living and see what was up in here! |

Making a shopping list. This morning we're going to walk in a nearby park/forest. Tonight we're going to, what in Dutch is called, gourmet. It's with small pans and miniature meat (hamburgers, chicken, etc) with sauces, vegetables and baguettes. We can pick up the set at 4pm. After checking what's in the set we're going to the supermarket to get some more food and get the groceries for the weekend.
We've been really lucky with the weather. Yesterday it was 21C (around 70F) while it normally is around 11C (52F) this time of year. The park has been nice and quite, with mostly older people and some young families. Today the people who have rented cottages for the weekend will arrive so I expect it to be bussier. |

Lots of gratuitous violence and nudity. I like that. The plot seems like it could develop into something. We both enjoyed an hour of it and decided that we will watch the next episode this weekend and see if it's something that we will follow. I've decided to give the book another try. If the sex is as good in the book as it was in the first episode, I might really like it after all! But I can't believe that they showed this on US Television! They must have censored out half the show. The US does not have the most open-minded censors. On the other hand, I imagine that the show could well have been sponsored by Pfizer Inc. pharmaceuticals, and made their stock go up 20 points! Stitchawl |

If you have a specific plan or goal for after graduation, it's good to keep that in plain sight. I put a picture of the school Ring on the fridge. I really didn't want one but it signified completion, so every time I'd get frustrated with homework, I'd take a break and head for the fridge looking for something to cheer me up.. Before I could even open the door I'd see that ring staring at me, and that would be enough to send me back to the books for another hour or so. (It also kept me a bit thinner.) You can keep up the good grades. It's worth it in the long run. Stitchawl |
