Darjeeling in my mug.

Alka Seltzer Cold Plus in a different mug. I swear by the stuff. It tastes bad, but has improved over the years, but my good does it work.

Darjeeling this morning and Wuyi Shan Red Cape Oolong right now.

Taking deep calming breaths. A slide I was suppose to brief was pulled because it did not have three specific questions listed on it. It was re-instated after additional information made it necessary. Never mind the necessity existed before but now it is important enough.

Stupid flipping idiotic leads who need to pull their heads out of their ass.

grrrrrr

Back to deep calming breaths and more tea so I can brief calmly and make sure not to make others look like total jack asses....

Ah, the necessity of some to show their importance by making unnecessary and ill-informed changes just to make a change. I know it well...

First, some fresh squeezed orange juice, and now, a large mug of Peet's Major Dickason's Blend coffee. While I wait for a pot of Murchie's English Breakfast to brew.

Managed to do a bit of side-by-side of Bruichladdich Port Charlotte and the Edradour Ballechin 10 Year Old Heavily Peated last night. Both are heavily peated, but the Port Charlotte is a bit peatier, and also, being higher in alcohol, wants a bit of water. The Ballechin, OTOH, is "rounder", definitely lower in alcohol, and needs no water at all. Both are delightful, but if I had to pick one, it would probably be the Bruichladdich. Not as refined as the Edradour Ballechin, but more powerful and more "Islay", if you will. The Ballechin shows it's Highland roots (and probably its longer time in Oak). OTOH, I'll happily drink either one any chance I get!
