Just finished a rousing game of fetch the ping pong ball with Stella. She behaves more & more like a puppy! Looks like a Collie pup from the side too!

Felicity's namesake, 'Felicity the First,' would play fetch with CocaCola twist-off bottle caps, and ONLY CocaCola twist-off bottle caps. She would completely ignore Pepsi caps, Club Soda caps, etc., etc. If we held several different in our hands prior to throwing, randomly selecting one but keeping it hidden until the throw, she would instantly be able to tell which was thrown, and either chase it or ignore it, depending. I'll be damned if I know how she was able to detect the correct one so quickly, but if it was a Coke cap she would race after it as soon as it left my hand, chase it down, bat it around a couple of times, then bring it back to be thrown again.

Felicity II will only race after cable ties and hair stretchy-bands and she won't retrieve them at all, only spend hours playing with them. She will play with little balls, but not if they are thrown.

Just got upstairs after working. It was insanely busy at the store today, over 100 customers (comparable to a Saturday in December) and I'm pooped. Later tonight my parents are going to my aunt and uncle to play cards and my sister is going out with friends. So instead of going to bed early and watch dvd's I'm going to stay up and watch dvd's with some very unhealthy snacks (which I share with Lexie, of course). Now it's first time to take a nap!

Just finished a rousing game of soccer with Stella (using ping pong ball & kitchen linoleum floor) - she's fast! Funny how all the balls eventually end up underneath the chest of drawers in the living room!
