Call it >myChines.css< or something like that. You can have as many *.CSS files in this folder. The PRS+ function "custom EPUB style" lets you choose out of these files, and will copy it over style.css, which is the only one recognised by patched ADE-viewer binary. Quote:

Practicaly it would depend on the CSS styles used in this particular epub. So your best chance is to remove DRM (if any) open up in Sigil (huge forum here at MR) and check the styles |

Technically FSK.img is exceeding max. allowed size of 8.650.752 bytes. This is due to added PRS+ binary support-files in opt/sony/ebook/application/resources/prsp/ issue #266 filed |

Thanks - removed link for PRS300.

Can PRS+ be made such that we don't actually have to use any of the buttons on the x50 (especially a 650)? Right now, we still need to use some of them. This way, even if the buttons wear out or break as long as the touch is working, the Reader can still be used.
So we'd need to have a way to call up the home screen, the size menu & the options menu. |

Yes, you can (more or less) tweak the newest version (custom build) that way you need no button.
It depends of course of your way of using the reader. I see no way to use ALL functions of PRS+ without button. But it's possible to read books, go back to the home menu, alter font size, open the options menu without using any button. Even send the reader into standby mode. 99% of all you ever nead I think. But you cannot not use the POWER BUTTON. It's a must for switching the reader on. The only weak point. A. Last edited by Analogus; 01-20-2012 at 03:52 PM. |

I'm not talking of all the fuctions of PRS+. But a way to replace HAVING to use the home button, the size button and the options button. I know you can map to other buttons but that's not the point. The point is to get these three buttons to be mapped to the touch screen. Can this be done? |

Yes. In 2.1.x you can assign actions to the four corners of the touch screen. This is (I think) what Analogus was referring to. You can therefore map home, size and options to three of the four corners, with another action of your choice in the fourth corner. You can also map up and down swipes to two other actions, assuming that the left and right swipes are being used for page turns. Sincerely, Ben. |

As Ben says, there are new actions in the latest version (CB). So yes, you can. More or less.
My setup for example is like that:
What is missing? Option-mode for books. So I could alter PRS+-setup to do this say instead of the CSS-changing. A. Last edited by Analogus; 01-21-2012 at 02:30 AM. |

Bug with position of dictionary:
I rather should not report it cause I like the behaviour of this bug ;-) Observation:There are situations, when the dictionary is on the TOP of the screen, not on the BOTTOM. Of course without the option "no overlapping popups" enabled. I made some experiments and found out: 1) Enable the option "no overlapping popups" 2) Double-tab on a word on the lower part of the screen to call dic on the top 3) Go to options and deactivate "no overlapping popups" 4) Double-tab on a word to call the dic --> it will appear on the TOP of the screen Conclusio: The last location of the dic with option "no overlapping popups" enabled is stored somehow. When you disable the option this location will be used in future until enabling the option again. For me that's ideal! So man can chose the location of the dic! Request: it would be nice to have a black line at the bottom of the dic when it appears at the top of the page for better distinguishing between dic and book-text. A. |

That is indeed a bug. Thanks for reporting it, Analogus. I'll see if I can change the option to a more general one, letting the user choose between top/bottom/avoid selection. The line is a bit trickier, but I'll take a look at that as well.

I tested a custom build today in my 650 and I have found that Book History is seemingly broken: not found in "More", and an empty list in Home page at Book View configured by last books read.
Also, in Games folder there are only 2. |
