Je Ju Green Tea. On a positive note, the Little Man is figuring out going to the bathroom when he wakes up and has to. On a negative note, he does not want to go back to bed at 6 AM after going potty. hmmm DOing a load of laundry at 7 AM or an extra hour of sleep? |

I had a little bit of Sencha, Genmaicha, and Gyukuro Imperial left so I made my own blend. They are all Sencha based and it worked well.

Murchie's English Breakfast Blend tea. A pleasant improvement on what I usually have in a hotel. |

Milk Oolong this morning. Major Dickanson's right now. Getting the water going for my daily tea but I am not sure what that will be. I am not looking forward to this week. Hubby is going to the Mayo Clinic for a series of tests and meetings before he donates bone marrow. We won't see him until Thursday. I love my Little Man but it is always hard on both of us when Hubby is gone. So we have a pizza date tonight and will need to find something special to do the next few nights. Maybe a movie night tomorrow.... Cancer and Leukemia suck so hard. Just so awful and painful and challenging and I just want all of this done and a healthy FIL. (sigh) |

It's officially fall here - Laphroaig has entered by Scotch nightcap rotation -- I find its unique taste palate most suited for cool/cold weather - with its strong notes of peat, pine, and other earthy elements.

Checking in very briefly to report that I'm drinking a 3 shot latte in a personal cup from Starbucks while writing the questions for the next quiz in this course. Also to request that poohbear_nc send me a wee dram of that Laphroaig to try against the wet and chill of an early fall-winter here in BC. Hate to buy a whole bottle without at least a taste. |
