Been in internet hibernation for the last few days so I could concentrate on essay writing. Handed it in today (not without some trouble!) so I'm sitting here with my boyfriend having a beer and some Kettle Chips, and might play some of Ocarina of Time in a bit.

Also, the built in spell check in Opera doesn't think "internet" is a word. It thinks inter-net is an acceptable substitute, also intern et and intern-et. Hmm.

Try typing it with a capital "I" and see if the spell-checker accepts it.

Now suffering from NGS (new gadget syndrome). Yesterday's after we got back from the theatre, the tablet had charged for long enough so I started to try out various apps. Suddenly it's two hours later (2 am) whilst I had told myself not to make it too late since I had to work today. So now I'm ready to go downstairs, I'm not very awake so hopefully it won't be too busy.

I also just downloaded Ice Cream Sandwich, the new Android. I've only got a couple of hours with Android 3.2 to compare it with but I like it so far.

I'm thinking of shelling out $79 to this place (which just opened locally) for a one-hour session of floating in a 10" solution of salt water similar to the Dead Sea. You can do it with the lights on or off, and with a bathing suit or nude. I'd like to try an hour in the dark au naturel. I suspect the experience would be very close to that of a sensory-deprivation tank, which I've always wanted to try.

That is, if my wife ever gets her truck fixed. It's difficult to schedule things when two people are depending on the same vehicle. The guy's been working on he truck forever.
