You mean the commercials that Pepsi paid for? Do you really think they would show the people that picked Coke in those tests?

Do you really think anybody cares? Nobody is going to switch drinks anyway.

Amen to that! Personally, I can't stand carbonated beverages, with the exception of some sparkling wines.

Pop (soda for all you hicks out there ) does nothing but rot your teeth and that's fact not opinion!

I love cherry coke, but all the other attempts at some kind of cola + cherry were vile and thankfully I never even saw that second one you mention in europe since I found vanilla coke utterly vile.

As far as the coke/pepsi thing, I tend to drink coke, but am not particularly bothered as long as the drink is cold enough as otherwise the non-diet versions just seem too syrupy.

It's not so much the cherry I object to in Pepsi, Coke or Dr. Pepper. Nosirree! No what raises *MY* dander to the point of demanding "a killing" is when they stuff *VANILLA* into the mix! GAAAAAaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh! (There oughta be a law against "vanilla" as the predominant "flavor" in a soda - where's them thar firing walls when we need them?)

Can't parse that... but the reason is primarily your sporadic refusal to distinguish between opinion and fact.

Maybe not, although, hopefully you wouldn't have made the same elementary logical errors.

You do of course realize that your subjective opinion doesn't make something an objective fact. Or, do you?
... I cannot help but feel there is a pattern. If only I had a brilliant American symbologist* to help me untangle this Gordian Knot of a conundrum!

(* I also have a nagging suspicion that "symbologist" is far less an English word than "liseuse" is. At last as long as the word "semiotician" is allowed to continue to exist.)

I do drink a lot of ice water. And I'll be getting some grape juice later this week. I do drink some soda. But not too much.

The vanilla is better than the cherry. But I prefer my cola without extra flavoring.

Please note that this study was for SUGAR-CONTAINING beverages. Does not hold for diet beverages.
