I love books and e-books and the thought of cradling a Kindle II in my hands makes me kind of dizzy.

me me me

I would like to win an e-book reader. I'm tired of having all these bulky old fashioned books cluttering up the place.

Hi! I've been enjoying the splendors of the Kindle 2 for a few months now and am totally sold on the e-book reading experience. I would love to win one for my grandson.

Thumbs up

Count me in!!!

Why? Because!...

My PRS-505 could use a break from so much wear...

So I would like a PRS-700 which I just found out is available in Spain!

I am entering the giveaway.

I manage blog about ebook publishing (digital-books.ru) and hitech (cybertime.ru) and cite MobileRead posts and link to MobileRead.
I am going to participate in ebook publishing enterprise.
I'd write a dozen of article in offline and online press about ebooks and ebook-readers.
I leave my paper library in another town.
And I gift the Russian ebook-reader Orsio to my mother on New Year (now she and my dad can't make arrangements about who'll be use ebook-reader today - and everyday).
I want an eink bookreader so long...
But I am a wheelbarrow without a wheel: I've no ebook reader!!!

PS I like EPUB format, Kindle is useless outside USA, because of Sony Reader PRS-505 or PRS-700 will be the best surprise.

I am entering, too.

I gave my 90 year old father a Kindle a year-and-a-half ago because I determined that the reason he couldn't read any more was because he couldn't see the text. The Kindle solved that problem for him, and I've been making books for him ever since. Yes, he can read again!

I gave my wife a Sony 700 last Christmas because she had no time to read, and this box solves her problem of always having a library available to her whereever she is, and yes, I've been making books for her ever since. And now she can read again.

I have to guess as to whether or not any of the books I am making work on their devices. I think I have the metrics down for the Kindle, but the Sony still is pretty hit&miss (epub), so, I need a 700 to take the guesswork out.

Let's see, any other good reason? I've been trying to get Gannett to buy into this whole ebook thing, and I need to develop methodologies they would buy into.....

Here I am !
Well, I'm pretty satisfied with my Cybook, but I'd like a Sony 505 too, just to compare, and also to read all the "free" ebooks from Sony bookstore that you guys and gals are tempting me with (you wicked ! )

Count me in, too.

I already own a Bebook, and after my sorrow (see jpg for it), I just want again an reader (I loved the Bebook, esp. with openinkpot , but I would also willing to try out a different reader (like the 505 or Cybook)).
So just consider helping an addicted who has no more access to his drug.
