If your data speed is reduced, the reduced speeds may impact the functionality of some data applications, such as streaming audio or video or web browsing.

This is under terms and conditions. I got here by google-ing "can I do streaming on Straight talk.

Really I do NOT want to get in trouble with anyone....just to darn OLD!

Speakers not so low for phone usage but for music they are not that good...no bass and rather tinney. Just wanted something a lot better for my music and all my other players.

Yeah like I said they are misleading everyone. Just go to Straight Talk forum and look around. You can ask over there but they never give a straight answer if you ask directly. Type in throttle and you will see what I mean.

Worse thing they can do is bring down your speed to dial up. That article isn't old its from last summer when the ad campaign came out.

They use to say no streaming of any kind now they say Pandora is okay on the lowest setting but no video streaming. They throttle streaming of any kind other than Pandora. They say it's okay to watch like small clips on YouTube but not continuous streaming is allowed. If you point out the data page that mentions what that ad did in the link. They will side step it with you.

They have stopped giving public answers on what is allowed for the most part. I see several threads have been removed too.

I picked Standard Shipping so wont get it til end of the month early Feb

I ordered a case for the older Kindle Touch.. its coming from China!! It wont be here for3 weeks! Guess that where my Phone is.. maybe its going to be Hot Off the Line

Yay!! now you can shop and get stuff in two days. Told ya those Repts didn't know what they were talking about. I dealt with so many clueless ones during the holidays. One even deactivated all my devices. All my eInk Kindles, Android devices, Tablets you name it.

All I asked them to do was remove the 10 devices from the music settings lists. So I could start over and the first person deactivated all devices but the music ones. The Second one I got did remove the rest. So I really Started over from scratched.

I no longer trust Amazon support or Kindle support to know what they are doing.

My son didn't believe it would happen... When the Prime activated he said NOt What the Amazon site says! ... Which hes is correct according to the site they don't except bank debit cards or Gift cards for Prime.

That is correct but Prime that comes with the phone is a gift subscription. I could also buy someone a year of Prime for someone who doesn't have a credit card with my credit card as long as Purchase it as gift. The different is a gift subscription does not renew so there is no need a for a credit card.

Trials and Regular Prime do need a credit card.
