I help both my mom and my Father in Law with computer issues. Mom has internet, FIL doesn't. Mom's computer is sooo much easier to deal with because of the magical program called Teamviewer. It's a free program that allows me to remotely access her computer. I can show her how to do things, or fix things that need fixing, even transfer files. FIL, who is very hard of hearing, has to have instructions over the phone, step by step, on how to do things. I sooo wish he had internet so I could use Teamviewer with him.
Hubby and I are easy for Christmas. We just don't. I guess this year we are getting tile for the bathroom and shower. One year we got wormy chestnut wood to make our kitchen cabinets. One year we got a gutted/redone guest bath. Romantic, I know!
Thanks everyone for the free romances. Mom really enjoys them.

Little brother is the actual IT guy in the family. He's got the degree and job in the field But I'm the moron who moved states to be closer to my parents since they're getting older, so I'm local. And somehow inherited the computer issues for all my aunts and uncles in town, too

I actually think that's great! I don't mind practical gifts and actually prefer to get something that will get used as opposed to something that won't.

Well I just ordered hubby's Christmas. Amazon is saying it will be Saturday! Nooo Monday it better be Monday or he will see it.

I got him two Cruze Fit flash drives they are tiny in size but large capacity. It's for the Media Player deck I got him last year for Christmas. The one he uses now is too big and blocks the remote sensor on the deck. I got two so he can use one for his Country and one for his other music he listens to as the deck doesn't do sorting. In fact I've yet figure out how it does sort. It's a mystery. I asked him if he wanted a new Car Media deck for Christmas. He said a big fat No as it was a huge pain to install this one. I offer to pay for the installation but he had to do it himself. So it sits a little crooked and the faceplate is locked and wont pop off so he can't use the SD card slot on it due to the dash being in the way. Men!

I also got him a case to hold the drives so he doesn't lose them. The revolving remote caddy for his many remotes and I got him and me each a lapdesk with pull out mouse pad. So that leaves me $25 this week for books I am expecting a $50 AGC any day now though. So my Christmas shopping other than Meat and Treats baskets I order for family each year is done. I will order those this weekend.

Good I never went for the soft teddy bear kind with teeth! I think my favorite vampires are Lara Adrian's kind before that it was Amanda's Ashley's version.

I just got notice everything I ordered will be here today! I have Prime but wow this is super quick! Kudos to Amazon! I ordered at 3pm and chose two day shipping which should have been Monday good thing the tree is done and waiting for presents. I hope he comes after hubby goes to work.
