None of this even compares to the packaging for legal marijuana in BC. Sheesh! Worst part? It's not even useful for storing your weed because it doesn't properly reseal. I get that they need to make this stuff child proof. But someone needs to explain that some of their CBD customers might just have a bit of arthritis? And be taking it for that? If they at least made the internal packaging so that it would reseal and prevent the bud from drying out too much you could reuse the packaging for something.

Well, actually, we use a simple mason jar, with a 62% Boveda in the bottom, but my rant was about the FOUR layers of packaging that it comes in, NONE of which is re-usable or even useful.

I suspect the hard to 'pop' pill packaging is a 'child-proofing' issue - the nanny-state promoters will probably introduce here soon. Quote:

![]() Also, in the states if you call the mail order Rx company they will ship your Rx with a non-childproof lid. I did that for mom's, she just couldn't do them any more with the arthritis in her hands. They do ask for a couple extra days to get the prescription out when you call for a refill. Her Rx company is Express Scripts, but I'm sure any of them would do it. Oh, and even my Walmart pharmacy has humans counting out pills. And I have no problem finding compounding pharmacies. I have a few drugs that my dogs take that I have to have compounded. I use both a local and mail order compounding pharmacy. S |

Yes, both Mason and Ball are still very popular and used by lots of us. Ball tends to be a bit bigger up here, but both are around. And every supermarket has them all year round. Lots of secondary uses, and canning is still very much a part of how Canadians do things, especially away from the big city. Frankly, I'm more likely to use them to put stock, or pasta sauce or whatever in, and then freeze the stock or sauce. I don't really pressure can, but freezer can. |

Same here in my state in the US (don't know if it's the same in all states). You can only get the CVS Sudafed by requesting it at the pharmacy counter. I've thought of trying the store brand from a different pharmacy in case they get it from a different supplier which might use different packaging. Might try that next time I run out. |

I'm considering suicide, again. ...
OMG...
I have this client that I'm walking through everything at Amazon. He's in his 90's, so I don't want to be judgemental; I'll probably be a basket case in 20 years, myself. If I live that long. But he's driving me nuts. He's slow as molasses, adn he's afraid. So, the fear makes him triple-check everything. I tried to set up a GoToMeeting with him, so that I could see his screen, but when I tried to turn the meeting over to him, he couldn't find the item to click, to display his monitor to me. so now, I'm walking him through blindfolded, effectively. Of course, he can't remember his Amazon password. So now, 48 minutes later, we still HAVEN'T EVEN EFFING LOGGED IN YET!!!! I WANT TO SCREAM AT THE TOP OF MY G*DDAMN LUNGS. Hitch |

Ohhhhhhhh. That's the kind of client that ought to be required to bring a grandchild to the "meeting" with him. Or a neighbor kid off the street.
You can scream here. We're listening. |

Tell him he doesn't have to have any friends. (I can see why he doesn't.) Make him order pizza, and tip the delivery person $50 bucks to come in and hold his hand. Or find the durn "share my screen" button.
Some people really are (apparently) too old to do self publishing. Is the book even any good??? |

I'm trying to figure out what to do next. If he could have found the g*****ed "share my screen" button in GTM, that would have solved part of it, but of course, nooooooooooooo, that would have been too easy. I might try something else, a different support hub method. The challenge though is, trying to get through this without killing him. I don't mean to be a d*ck, I don't. I feel for him, and when I'm old, I don't want people getting angry at me for being a bit unsure, either--y'know, Karma, but...daaaayyyam. I mean, he couldn't even manage his password, or how to reset it? When all he had to do was hit a button, copy-paste it from the frigging email to the webpage? Bloody AOL. WHY do people stick with AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo? Every time we see those, we know that the quote won't be enough. Hitch |
