This arrives two weeks after reporting the bug and a 3 page exchange with a boatload of MVPs (rhymes with refugees) who kept asking the same questions

Reach Out is one of those terms I love to hate, along with Going Forward.

And my ISP is reaching out to me (i.e. pestering me) to switch over to the NBN (No Bloody-Good Network), promising the same speed as I get now at the same price. I'm waiting for answer to my "Why would I bother" question. Australia had a similar shambles with residential ISDN (Innovation Subscribers Don't Need) a few decades back.

When people who did not know me personally, especially businesses, said they wanted to reach out to me I used to think that they assumed that I was just another snowflake type customer.

But as time has gone on I now realize that they wanted to reach out to me as they saw me as being the prophet - you know how the song goes, I'm sure .

I guess they have to have extra time to squeeze in all those commercials to pay for the *gasp* 1 million dollar prize ... which divided among 3 team members is chump change for them ... many have won considerably more than that in previous tournaments ...

Awaiting a water damage technician. Decided to flush the trap of the wet bar sink (I keep an R/O (reverse osmosis unit) for my aquarium there.)

A net fell into the sink drain, clogging it. I was starting a load of laundry while letting the drain flush.

I came back to water pouring all over the carpet. Gallons and gallons of water. . . .

(And no, I don't have a wet/dry vac.)

I have a vague memory someone suffering another mishap with a bar and an aquarium, might have involved spilt wine - was that you too ?
