My sister and I took my mother out for dinner to a tapas restaurant tonight. She really loved it and when she discovered that they're open on Christmas she now wants to have dinner there.

Must have a girls' night out more often.

It must have looked very funny because I'm standing in my room, in the middle of the night, in my underwear trying on old clothes. In the end I had two and a half trash bags full of old clothes and shoes. I did keep a couple of jackets that were too big and a skirt that's almost too big (mainly because that's my only skirt, lol).

Been there, done that. Plus I want to keep an eye on it just in case it start leaking somewhere I can put a bucket underneath. My father's got his dentures today and isn't in any mood to discuss this problem and if I start sleeping in the living room or move my bed to my other room he won't do anything about it because then the problem's "solved" in his eyes.

I used to love rain and storms, especially at night when I'm all warm and cozy in bed. Not now.

Yes, absolutely love picture! Not having kids, I've taught my puppy (now a 6 year old doggie!) to lie on my chest like that. Just for the experience of a sleeping baby against me. Such a lovely feeling!
