Sort of generic Taiwanese high mountain oolong.
Quote:
This is the package from the tea I'm drinking now: I like the tea and it was inexpensive for the quality, so I kept the bag. The bold Chinese says "high mountain tea" and on the bottom is what I think is a company name (山水茶園) that translates to "landscape tea plantation" or some such, but that's pretty much it. |

Last tea on a rushed day. This has been a very stressful and busy year so far, but a couple of major milestones have just been passed. Phew!

And I think I've seen your tea on the shelf -- if not that exact one, then several very similar ones. The Taiwan teas have similar packaging. |

Seven Sons Pu Erh.
Finally starting to feel healthy again. An out of the blue asthma attack at the beginning of July seems to have led to a month of small crap that kept adding up and ended with an ear infection and a cold doing its damndest to become bronchitis. Ugggghhhh So a Z Pack, steroid pack (that was a new one), infuser, two allergy meds and four bags of cough drops later I am celebrating two days in a row without a cough and praying for the ringing in my ear to stop completely. It's not like I have been ignoring any of this. I went to the Doctor but each time we started to get one thing under control something stupid came up and set it all back. Just a pain in the ass. And then I felt like crap complaining because it really was all minor, but with threats of building to something larger, because my FIL is in the hospital with massive chemo hoping to get to the point where he can have a stem cell transplant which makes constant coughing and a cold with ear infection with asthma seem like not a whole heck of a lot. So I am glad July is gone and August is looking better and I remembered that my husbands birthday is tomorrow in enough time to get his gifts off of Amazon and delivered in enough time. Just scattered, really scattered. Wrong thread, right? I just feel more at home here then the Vent thread |

I wish I had developed a taste for Pu Erh. I really should try a couple more. But then, I have so many teas right now, it's hard to convince myself there's a need. (Right, like THAT ever stopped me!)

I am on Symbicort and it acts as a kind of self-adjusting dosage. Because I use it as both my maintenance (steroid, budesonide) and attack response (bronchodialator, formoterol), whenever I have an attack, I'm also automatically getting more of the maintenance corticosteroid which helps fight the current irritant. I have no idea what triggered it. I had not been taking my allergy meds but I had not been having allergy issues. It had been 3 1/2 years since I had an asthma issues so I did not have an inhaler at home or anything. Totally out of the blue.
I have an inhaler at home and work now. I am taking Singular as an asthma/allergy drug and just finished a round of Prednisone. The last time I had asthma issues we tried Advair and it turned out I had a bad reaction to it, lots of respiratory infections that went away when we stopped the Advair, so we are trying to deal with the asthma without moving to a similar medicine since there is a strong likelihood I would have a similar reaction. I don't do things by halves. Either my asthma has me on a nebulizer and three-four other meds or it is non-existent. Very frustrating. Jasmine oolong in my cup. |
